Get Back On The Saddle With Equestorian™

There are over 2 million horse riders in the U.S alone. And out of those numbers, almost half of them are trained to or have competed in a racetrack. As the passion and love for the sport and these magnificent creatures continue to grow, unfortunately, so does the bodily risk that comes with it.

But fret not! As fellow riders ourselves, we’ve taken years of meticulous research and garnered feedback from horse lovers all over the country to create Equestorian™.

The Quintessential Brace That’s Got Your Back

The Equestorian™ brace was designed to help horseback riders achieve the perfect riding posture without the need for guidance from a riding coach. Because our brace reinforces posture habits so good, it basically turns into muscle memory!

Our Hollowback Design provides riders with the ideal torso and hip alignment by stretching out their front chest muscles while pulling the shoulders back, supporting the lumbar muscles ad granting the perfect balance for a better riding experience.

It’s blueprint was drafted prioritizing comfort and adaptability in mind. With adjustable straps, our brace conforms to the shape of your body and provides optimum support best suited for you. Practicing proper riding posture on your own has never been easier!

What Fellow Horse Riders Are Saying
I’m 73-years-old, and I have back trouble for a long time now. But with Equestorian™, I use it not only riding but around the house just because it’s very comfortable and easy to put on. I’ve been in love with barrel racing and trail riding. And I’m so happy I found you all on Facebook. Happy trails!

I have broken three vertebrae’s between my shoulder blades in the past, and it really does help my shoulders which are very sore all the time. It’s a really good idea and fits under my race safe body protector as well, that's a bonus! Have worn it twice riding and I can already feel the difference in the way I sit and balance myself. It certainly made a difference in my position, thank you!

It works really well and I’m more than impressed with it! It’s so comfortable I wore it for hours without even realizing how much time has passed. It forces me to engage my core, securing my posture. But in the event I have to bend my body, I could still move the way I need to. With quality this amazing, I recommend it highly!

Tips for a Better Fit

Our sizing guide is calculated to give riders an idea on what brace size they should pick. Simply select the size according to your waist’s measurement. Give yourself a minimum of 4” to overlap the waist straps and ensure proper fitting and maximum effectiveness. If your measurement are between 2 sizes, simply chose the one that’s closest to you. Otherwise, either one will work just fine.

When measuring your waist, keep the measuring tape level and measure the narrowest part of your waistline.

Note: The height of the back brace is fixed at 15.35 inches (39 cm).

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the back brace roll up when I ride with it?

No. Our back brace features firm aluminum stays put and keeps the brace in an optimum position on your body to prevent it from rolling up despite rigorous movements during your ride.

Can I wear the brace even when I’m not riding?

Yes! You can even wear the back brace when you’re off the saddle to comfortably adopt proper posture anytime, anywhere.

We recommend starting off for 15 to 25 minutes for the first few days and progressively add 20 minutes every subsequent day after. Your back and shoulders should gradually align and build muscle memory for the right posture.

Ideally, the brace can be worn for 3 – 4 hours daily.

Will this weaken my back muscles?

Absolutely not. Our posture corrector is not made out of stiff materials that will keep your posture locked in place like a cement vest, which isn’t healthy. The Equestorian™ back brace is an aid that helps your muscle maintain the correct posture, acting as a constant reminder to you and your muscles to keep your posture straight while riding.

How long does it take for back pain to subside?

2 weeks on average. Your body will not be used to the new posture initially, hence it will take time. Stop wearing it as soon as it becomes uncomfortable, take a break, and practice wearing it again. Allow your body to familiarize itself with the effects of the back brace for the first few days.

An average of 2 to 4 hours is recommended daily until an improvement can be seen or felt.

Note: The Equestorian™ brace is not suitable for pregnant women.
